I have inherited a love for borzoi from my mum and my grandmother, and I have been blessed to have been able to spend almost all my life with these wonderful dogs. For me it has always been clear that borzoi is the breed for me. The best part about being an adult is definitely being able to share my life with my dogs and have just as many dogs at home as I like.

My mum and grandmother have also previously bred borzoi under the prefix Eugenian, and their work for the breed can be seen behind the Eugenian dogs I have bred. The kennel name Eugenian was first granted to my grandmother Eva Hartojoki in 1980 and Eva is still very much a part of my hobby.

My mum Kirsi Westerling also breeds dogs with me under the same kennel name, but she has lately been focusing more on tibetan terriers after spending decades with borzoi. My mum quite regularly shows my dogs and guides me in my dream of breeding borzoi.
